The Staff Accountant role is onsite in Melbourne, FL. Compensation is not specified. Dassault Falcon Jet’s Melbourne facility performs maintenance and modifications on Falcon aircraft for customers across the Americas and beyond. The accountant prepares and reviews financial information, reconciles accounts, investigates variances, and supports controls and audits. The role contributes to accurate, timely accounting processes and works with finance, tax, accounts payable, and other business partners in a regulated aerospace environment.

What you'll do

• Assist with monthly financial statements
• perform month-end close activities and journal entries
• reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare account analyses
• research and resolve reconciliation differences
• coordinate with finance, tax, accounts payable, and other business partners
• contribute to process improvement
• support internal controls, audit requests, and corporate accounting policies
• perform special projects as assigned.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, 1–3 years of accounting experience, advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, and working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls. A master’s degree, CPA certification or candidacy, automation experience, and SAP or related ERP experience are desired.
