The Hardwood Flooring Technician — Refinishing & Installation role is onsite in Getzville, NY. Compensation is $23–$26 per hour. The position supports Rapid Dry dba Irock Plumbing’s work helping homeowners transform and care for their floors. The technician installs, repairs, sands, stains, and refinishes hardwood floors while protecting customers’ homes and maintaining clean, safe job sites. Careful workmanship, communication, and adherence to project timelines and quality standards contribute to completed flooring projects.

What you'll do

• Install, repair, sand, stain, and refinish hardwood floors
• prepare work areas and protect customers’ homes
• operate flooring equipment such as sanders, edgers, and buffers
• measure and assess floors, materials, and job requirements
• apply stains, sealers, and finishes
• keep job sites clean, safe, and organized
• communicate with customers and teammates
• follow project timelines and quality standards. Flooring or related trade experience is beneficial but not required
• training is available.
