The Commercial HVAC Service Technician, Data Centers position is based in Fairfax, VA, with service work at customer locations throughout Northeast Virginia. Compensation is $22–$32 per hour. The role supports REIC Rentals’ data center customers by maintaining temporary climate-control equipment used to keep critical facilities operating safely and efficiently. The technician inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains rental equipment in the shop and at customer sites. Reliable equipment performance and adherence to safety procedures support customer operations and REIC Rentals’ equipment-service mission.

What you'll do

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and temporary climate-control equipment
• perform preventive maintenance on air conditioning, heating, ventilation, dehumidification, and power equipment
• diagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and control-system issues
• read schematics and manuals
• install, start up, and commission rental equipment
• provide customer service and basic operational training
• document service work
• travel throughout Northeast Virginia
• follow company and customer safety procedures.
