Warehouse Assistant

Job overview

The Warehouse Assistant role is onsite in Kansas City, MO, with an hourly base wage of $21.43–$24.48, plus bonus if applicable. DIRECTV provides entertainment and connectivity services to customers. The assistant receives, stocks, pulls, distributes, ships, and tracks materials and equipment. Accurate inventory records and order fulfillment help supply technicians and support field installation, repair, and service operations.

What you'll do

• Receive and verify incoming shipments
• sort and place materials in designated storage locations
• mark materials
• pull and distribute stock for technician requests
• prepare merchandise for shipment
• maintain computerized inventory records
• complete requisitions
• sort waste and recycling
• and perform clerical record keeping. Operate material-handling equipment, load company trucks, and drive to other garages and storerooms to replenish supplies. Receive returned goods from the field and determine whether to return them to suppliers or restock. Work may involve varied hours, overtime, call-outs, weekends, holidays, and on-call availability
• out-of-town assignments may be required.
