What you'll do

• Supervise and direct youth in summer camps, Native Youth Olympics, Jabila’ina Dance Group, and Del Dumi Drum Group
• develop and deliver cultural and language lessons in the Yaghanen After School program
• work with Yaghanen staff to reflect cultural programming appropriately
• supervise youth in summer and winter programs and maintain attendance records
• provide educational support during school hours in local school buildings
• maintain data-management documentation
• transport program items
• model appropriate behavior
• comply with applicable laws, policies, and TERO ordinance.

Why this role

Requires three years of experience working with youth in an education setting; a valid Alaska driver’s license; Pediatric/Adult First Aid/CPR or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire. Local and in-state travel and a varied schedule are noted.
