The role unifies inconsistent data from multiple sources into governed enterprise models and builds the pipelines, semantic layers, and reporting structures that put those models into use. This work helps developers, analysts, and system engineers rely on consistent, secure, and current data.

What you'll do

• Define enterprise data models, standards, and governance frameworks
• lead cloud data migration and integration
• build automated ingestion, transformation, cleansing, validation, and refresh workflows
• develop Databricks pipelines using Delta Lake and PySpark/SQL
• tune performance and costs
• ensure NIST and applicable federal security compliance
• collaborate with developers, analysts, and system engineers
• design semantic and reporting layers for Power BI and Tableau
• assess data lineage and quality
• document architecture and mentor technical staff.
