The Chief Philanthropy Officer role is remote, with staff across the country and in-person gatherings in Princeton, NJ, two to three times each year. The budgeted salary is $250,000–$275,000 per year. The role supports Citizens & Scholars’ mission to develop young people as effective, lifelong citizens and advance civic solutions. The officer leads partnership-driven fundraising strategy, builds relationships with emerging philanthropists, and works with the development team, president, program leads, and board. The position helps connect donors’ interests and resources with mission-aligned opportunities and strengthens the organization’s fundraising portfolio.
