Fund Accountant

Job overview

The Fund Accountant role is onsite in 00901, PR, with annual compensation of $35,000–$45,000. Deca Analytics is strengthening investment accounting across Oceanum and affiliated entities, including PRIF and Cacique. This role supports financial reporting, fund operations, and controls across multiple investment platforms. It maintains fund ledgers, reconciles accounts, calculates NAVs and distributions, prepares financial statements, coordinates audits and tax work, and helps improve accounting processes.

What you'll do

• Maintain QuickBooks general ledgers across funds and SPVs
• record receivables, payables, journal entries, amortization schedules, invoices, and class tracking
• reconcile bank, custody, and subscription line accounts
• support GAAP compliance
• calculate NAVs and LP allocations
• model waterfall distributions and capital calls
• prepare quarterly financial statements and portfolio reports
• coordinate audits, tax work, and K-1 data
• document policies and improve reporting and controls
• assist with cash forecasting, wires, and borrowing-base tracking.
