What you'll do
- Assist with nursing department management
- support nursing staff in delivering care under policies and regulations
- monitor resident care, documentation, and nursing practices
- assist with scheduling and staffing coverage
- supervise, coach, and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
- participate in assessments, care planning, and interdisciplinary meetings
- monitor infection prevention, medication administration, and clinical protocols
- assist with investigations, quality initiatives, staff training, and regulatory surveys
- communicate with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare professionals
- provide nursing leadership in the Director of Nursing’s absence as needed.
