What you'll do

• Prepare residential project estimates and quantity takeoffs for foundations, framing, and related scopes
• analyze plans, specifications, and site conditions
• solicit and compare subcontractor and supplier pricing
• monitor local material and labor costs
• reconcile estimates with actual costs
• maintain cost databases and templates
• participate in bid walks, pre-bid meetings, and plan reviews
• identify value-engineering options
• support negotiations and scope reviews
• track plan and option changes
• and assist with bid tabulation and change-order pricing.
