Concrete Finisher

Job overview

The Concrete Finisher position is onsite in Saint Louis, MO, with compensation of $20–$30 per hour. Western Specialty Contractors is an employee-owned specialty contractor that restores and protects building envelopes, including concrete, facades, roofing, and waterproofing. The finisher prepares and completes concrete surfaces on commercial projects, following project plans and safety requirements to deliver work that meets specifications.

What you'll do

• Prepare, place, level, smooth, and finish concrete
• operate hand and power finishing tools
• set forms and verify alignment, grade, and depth
• apply surface treatments and curing compounds
• repair and resurface existing concrete
• monitor weather and site conditions
• follow blueprints and supervisor instructions
• maintain tools and work areas
• comply with safety policies and OSHA regulations
• coordinate with crews, supervisors, and subcontractors.
