The Registered Behavior Technician role is onsite in Meriden, CT; compensation is $25–$25.75 per hour based on education and certifications. Meliora Academy provides individualized education for students with autism and related challenges, focusing on academics, life skills, and independence. The technician works directly with students ages 3–22, implementing individualized behavior plans and evidence-based strategies. The role supports student learning, safety, independence, and progress in collaboration with teachers, behavior analysts, therapists, and families.

What you'll do

• Provide classroom support with academic tasks, social skills, daily living activities, and emotional regulation
• observe behavior and document progress data
• implement individualized behavior plans and ABA strategies
• use approved de-escalation and intervention techniques
• and collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, therapists, and families.
