What you'll do

• Prepare infants, children, and teens for examinations and procedures
• document vital signs, histories, and concerns
• assist providers with examinations, immunizations, procedures, and treatments
• administer vaccines and perform basic lab testing as directed
• prepare specimens
• provide patient and parent education
• maintain electronic medical records
• schedule appointments
• answer phones
• verify insurance
• maintain rooms and supplies
• follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection-control, and Illinois healthcare requirements.
