Behavioral Health Coordinator

Compensation is $0 per year. The Behavioral Health Coordinator is an onsite, full-time position in Waterloo, IA, supporting the IRSH program. ELEVATE’s mission is to elevate care by serving members when, where, and how they want. The coordinator helps the interdisciplinary team provide individualized, consistent, clinically informed behavioral support. Through observation, staff coaching, crisis prevention, training, quality review, and accurate documentation, the role supports stability, safety, independence, community integration, and progress toward individual goals.

What you'll do

• Develop respectful relationships and support person-centered behavioral strategies
• observe behavior and environmental factors and review data for trends
• participate in crisis planning and de-escalation
• coordinate with providers and emergency services when needed
• train and coach staff
• coordinate required program trainings
• attend quality assurance and interdisciplinary meetings
• support continuity of care
• document observations, interventions, outcomes, and follow-up needs
• maintain confidentiality.
