What you'll do

• Prepare conceptual, preliminary, and definitive project cost estimates
• develop preliminary construction plans and quantify scope
• analyze project specifications and drawings with engineering, procurement, and construction teams
• perform value engineering and risk assessments
• maintain estimating tools and methodologies
• present estimates and options
• obtain pricing from contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
• track costs and variances
• update estimates for scope, design, or market changes
• follow company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
