What you'll do

• Perform select procedures on blood and other body fluids using manual techniques or laboratory instruments
• use information systems to process specimens accurately and efficiently
• conduct phlebotomy as needed while maintaining patient comfort and safety
• follow protocols under laboratory technologist and leader supervision
• maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.

Why this role

Requires completion of an associate degree program in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science, or an eligible associate or bachelor’s degree with specified science coursework, or completion of a qualifying military technician program. MLT certification from ASCP or NCA is preferred.
