Automation Operator - Robot Welder

The Automation Operator - Robot Welder role is onsite in Jackson, MI, with compensation not specified. The position is in Technique Inc.'s Automation department and reports to the Automation Supervisor. Technique manufactures precision sheet metal and welded assemblies. The role supports production by setting up and operating welding equipment and robots, adjusting programs, and maintaining robotic welders. It also contributes to quality assurance through first-piece layouts, documentation, and troubleshooting production issues.

What you'll do

• Set up welders and weld mild steel joints
• perform first-piece table layouts for quality assurance
• change and troubleshoot robotic welder programs and offsets
• set up, calibrate, program, maintain, and troubleshoot robotic welders using CMM report feedback
• package parts for shipping
• complete production-run documentation.

Why this role
