General Manager

The General Manager role is fully onsite in Greensboro, NC, with regular onsite presence across assigned cemetery and funeral home locations. Base salary is $90,000–$110,000 per year, plus an incentive bonus plan tied to site performance. Everstory Partners’ mission is to provide compassionate, personalized support to individuals and families experiencing loss. The General Manager oversees portfolio operations, team performance, and business results, using financial and operational measures to address performance and meet goals. The role leads teams, supports service excellence, and manages budgets, customer issues, staffing, inventory, vendors, and workplace safety across multiple locations.

What you'll do

• Own daily operations and P&L for the assigned portfolio
• achieve or exceed budgeted sales and profit levels
• review financial results and address deviations
• resolve escalated customer issues
• lead, recruit, hire, train, and retain teams
• conduct performance reviews and development planning
• manage inventory and vendor relationships
• ensure workplace health and safety compliance
• select and purchase operational materials within budget.

Why this role
