Bonding Technician

Job overview

The Bonding Technician role is onsite in Grants Pass, OR; compensation is $16 per hour. Impact Electronic Solutions’ Grants Pass location performs electronic assembly work involving adhesive and bonding materials used in manufacturing. The technician follows assembly instructions and chemical safety procedures to mix and apply bonding materials, complete production paperwork, and inspect work as needed. The role supports safe, consistent assembly processes and may suggest process improvements.

What you'll do

• Follow assembly instructions for placement of bonding materials
• review safety data sheets and use appropriate PPE
• coordinate safety measures with engineering
• handle and store chemicals safely
• mix chemicals according to equations
• use bonding tools
• complete traveler paperwork
• suggest process improvements
• inspect other operators’ work as necessary
• perform special assignments.

Why this role

Requires respirator use, chemical protective equipment, manual dexterity, and sitting for eight or more hours per day; overtime and weekends may be required; schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m., with overtime as needed.
