Part-Time Rink Attendant

The Part-Time Rink Attendant role is onsite in Exeter, NH, and pays $21 per hour plus a shift differential. The seasonal schedule generally runs from mid-September to mid-March, for 20–30 hours per week, with hours Monday through Saturday from 4:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. as needed. The role supports athletic programs at Phillips Exeter Academy. The attendant helps prepare and maintain indoor ice rinks and related athletic-complex areas. The work keeps rink equipment and facilities ready for programs, rentals, and events, while supporting safe and clean spaces for students and visitors.

What you'll do

• Assist the Rink Manager in preparing rinks for programs
• operate and perform routine preventative maintenance on ice-making equipment
• perform seasonal maintenance and repairs
• clean rink shields and boards
• secure rinks after rentals and events
• clean rink and athletic-facility areas
• sweep, mop, remove trash, replenish supplies, shovel snow, and contact or assist emergency personnel in the event of a skating injury.

Why this role
