The Family Practice Physician role is onsite at Naval Branch Health Clinic Meridian in Meridian, MS, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Compensation is not specified. The physician provides primary care to active-duty service members, their families, and other eligible beneficiaries at a military treatment facility. As primary care manager for a panel of approximately 1,000–1,300 TRICARE Prime enrollees, the physician delivers acute, chronic, and preventive care. The role includes examinations, minor procedures, prescribing, military and occupational health evaluations, diagnostic testing, referrals, electronic health record documentation, and clinical collaboration with the care team.

What you'll do

• Examine, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages
• provide acute, chronic, and preventive care
• perform minor procedures and prescribe medications
• conduct wellness exams, immunizations, military physicals, and occupational medicine evaluations
• order and interpret diagnostic tests
• make referrals
• document care in MHS GENESIS
• collaborate with corpsmen, nursing staff, and the broader treatment-facility team.
