Material Handler — Shipping and Receiving

The Material Handler — Shipping and Receiving role is onsite in Rockford, IL, with pay of $16–$18 per hour. The position supports operations at Sub Source’s manufacturing and industrial facility. The handler moves and tracks customer-owned materials, raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products. Accurate identification, traceability, documentation, and safe material movement help protect customer property and support production and shipping operations.

What you'll do

• Receive customer materials, raw materials, tooling, supplies, and production materials
• verify quantities, part numbers, certifications, purchase orders, and packing documents
• inspect shipments and report discrepancies
• maintain material identification and traceability
• ensure required certifications and shipping documents accompany shipments
• move and stage materials for production
• follow ISO 9001 procedures, work instructions, and customer requirements
• identify and report nonconforming material
• perform daily forklift inspections
• maintain safe, organized work areas
• coordinate deliveries and communicate inventory concerns.

Why this role
