What you'll do

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• manage general ledger entries and reconciliations
• complete month-end and year-end close
• reconcile bank, credit-card, and balance-sheet accounts
• monitor accounts payable and receivable
• maintain fixed-asset records
• support accounting policies and internal controls
• ensure GAAP and regulatory compliance
• support budgeting and forecasting
• analyze financial data
• prepare and file tax and regulatory reports
• coordinate audits
• investigate discrepancies
• support special projects and process improvements
• supervise and mentor staff when applicable.
