Job overview

The Scanline Floater role is onsite in the City of Saint Peters, MO, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., including an 8-hour shift and a 30-minute lunch break. Compensation is $18.50 per hour. The role reports to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead and supports MAC.BID's online auction operations. The floater prepares products for scanning, removes scanned items, and places them in assigned storage locations. By inspecting and categorizing incoming goods and helping meet quantity and quality goals, the role supports the processing of customer returns and overstock for auction.

What you'll do

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
• categorize items as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• perform basic electronics testing
• move products to the conveyor for scanning
• remove scanned products from the scanning area
• shelve products according to auction and lot number
• help meet quantity and quality goals
• sweep and remove trash from bays and the mobile scan area.
