What you'll do

• Assist the Lead Teacher with classroom routines, activities, and transitions
• support children’s social-emotional development and positive behavior
• engage children in age-appropriate play and learning
• build respectful relationships with children and families
• maintain a safe, clean, organized classroom
• assist with meals, toileting, handwashing, and other care routines
• supervise children and follow health and safety practices
• participate in planning and special activities
• collaborate with the teaching team
• follow Rich Beginnings policies and New York State OCFS regulations
• attend meetings, professional development, and required training.
