Machine Operator — Night Shift

The Machine Operator — Night Shift position is onsite in Jacksonville, FL; pay is $19.50–$22.00 per hour. Insteel Industries manufactures steel wire reinforcing products for concrete construction. The operator learns and runs manufacturing equipment, identifies basic mechanical problems, and supports production of steel wire products. The role also includes equipment inspections, basic maintenance assistance, and recording production information.

What you'll do

• Learn to operate various machines and manufacturing processes
• inspect equipment for proper operation and mechanical integrity
• assist with machine and facility repairs and maintenance as required
• record production information on tally sheets and enter basic production data into a computer
• use measurement and basic math skills.
