What you'll do

• Direct multiple crews and job-site activities
• confer with supervisors, owners, contractors, and design professionals to resolve work procedures and construction issues
• develop team skills in heavy civil construction
• prepare daily field logs, trench inspections, progress reports, code receipts, and invoices
• document conditions affecting contract cost and schedule
• implement plan changes in response to delays, weather, or emergencies
• requisition supplies
• inspect work for environmental compliance
• investigate site damage, accidents, or delays
• follow safety rules and maintain time and materials records.
