The Precision CNC Operations Specialist, Milling and Turning role is an onsite, full-time position in Mobile, AL, paying $25–$30 per hour. JWC Machine and Fab builds tight-tolerance parts for industrial customers. The specialist operates CNC milling and turning equipment, checks parts against drawings and tolerances, and records production data. The role supports safe, efficient production and quality by identifying tooling or part concerns, assisting with setups, and maintaining an organized work cell, with a stated development path toward becoming a CNC Machinist.

What you'll do

• Operate CNC turning and milling equipment using setup sheets and job travelers
• load and unload parts and run cycles safely
• perform in-process checks with calipers, micrometers, and go/no-go gauges
• report tooling wear, broken tools, and quality concerns
• support setups, tool swaps, and material staging
• keep machines and the work cell organized
• record part counts and production data
• follow safety policies and wear PPE.
