The Water and Wastewater Project Engineer role is onsite in Knoxville, Tennessee. Compensation is not specified. The engineer plans and designs treatment and collection or distribution systems, and may manage multidisciplinary projects. The work contributes to client infrastructure needs through technical design, hydraulic modeling, specifications, reports, cost estimates, and coordination with project teams and clients.

What you'll do

• Develop designs, plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates for treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, tanks, and water or wastewater storage and conveyance systems
• perform or manage engineering and process design, hydraulics, pumping systems, and treatment projects
• coordinate departments and subconsultants
• create, calibrate, modify, and perform hydraulic modeling and communicate results
• assist project managers with staff workload allocation
• prepare or review specifications and cost estimates
• meet with clients and perform business development duties.
