HVACR Service Technician

Job overview

The HVACR Service Technician role is onsite in Richmond, VA, with service visits to customer locations within a three-hour radius of the technician’s residence. Compensation is $28–$42 per hour. DOC Services provides commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and related equipment repair and maintenance. The technician performs preventive maintenance and reactive repairs on commercial HVAC and light industrial equipment. The role helps customers reduce equipment downtime through troubleshooting, timely repairs, parts management, and clear service reporting.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot electronic and electrical components
• repair and perform preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC and refrigeration units
• identify problems by observing equipment operation
• remove and examine defective parts
• identify needed parts and close service calls promptly
• provide daily reports and communicate with store managers, supervisors, and office staff
• follow OSHA and company safety regulations
• perform administrative duties
• and maintain the company vehicle.
