The Total Quality Urschel Operator, 1st Shift, is an onsite, full-time role in Van Buren, AR, paying $17.50 per hour. The schedule is 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.; overtime may be required based on production needs. The operator reports to the Department Supervisor at Pepper Source, a manufacturer of custom sauces, seasonings, and dry coating systems. The operator blends ingredients into compounds for processing, verifies and loads ingredients, monitors mixing until the desired consistency is reached, and unloads finished mixture. The role also includes promptly reporting product concerns and cleaning and sanitizing mixing equipment.

What you'll do

• Verify ingredients before mixing
• load ingredients into the mixing tank
• operate and adjust the mixing machine until the mixture reaches the desired consistency
• unload mixture into totes or bulk tanks
• report product problems or concerns to the Department Supervisor
• clean and sanitize mixing tanks, pumps, and pipes.
