Junior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE)

The Junior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) role is onsite in Raleigh, NC. Compensation is not specified. What you'll do

• Assist with implementing, testing, and maintaining security controls for classified systems.
• Support ACAS/Tenable scanning, review findings, and coordinate remediation.
• Apply and validate STIGs, SCAP content, configuration baselines, patches, and hardening requirements.
• Support Microsoft Defender, Windows security settings, Active Directory, Group Policy, BitLocker, certificates, firewalls, and endpoint logging.
• Collect and quality-check RMF evidence, support approved configuration changes, automate recurring checks, and assist with incident investigation as directed.
