Mental Health Support Specialist

The Mental Health Support Specialist role is an onsite, full-time position serving adults in and around Stonington, ME, with support provided in clients’ homes and the surrounding community. Pay is up to $27 per hour. MAS Community Health provides individualized, community-based support to clients and families. The specialist provides one-on-one support and supervision guided by each client’s person-centered plan. The work helps adults with severe and persistent mental illness pursue greater independence through practical assistance, skill-building, transportation, and encouragement.

What you'll do

• Provide one-on-one support and supervision
• help clients work toward stable housing
• assist with appointments and provide safe transportation
• teach coping strategies
• support daily living skills such as budgeting
• encourage clients as they pursue their goals
• and complete electronic documentation such as daily session notes.
