The Business Analyst, Data Governance role is onsite in San Mateo, CA, with compensation of $80–$97.85 per hour. The role supports Zoox’s enterprise data maturity across Manufacturing Operations. The role assesses current data management practices and defines a scalable target-state governance capability. It brings business and technical stakeholders together to evaluate MDM/MDG options, establish governance requirements, and develop a phased roadmap that improves data quality, stewardship, approvals, and auditability.

What you'll do

• Assess current data management processes, tools, workflows, controls, and governance practices
• compare current MDM capabilities with target-state MDG needs
• evaluate SAP MDG or comparable solutions
• partner with enterprise governance, business applications, SAP/PLM owners, and stakeholders on the operating model
• support business case and roadmap development
• document ownership, stewardship, approvals, and change controls
• define data quality, validation, duplicate detection, reporting, and exception-management requirements
• facilitate workshops and prepare leadership recommendations.
