What you'll do

• Set and operate milling machines to make parts to specifications
• inspect completed units using precision instruments
• align and secure fixtures, tools, and materials
• monitor machine feed and speed

• check lubrication or cooling
• verify equipment operation
• exchange technical information with supervisors and manufacturing personnel
• dispose of or separate scrap according to policy and regulations
• calculate dimensions and tolerances
• maintain machine tools.
