What you'll do
- Provide face-to-face and phone crisis intervention, stabilization, and resolution services
- support individuals or families experiencing acute distress or loss of behavioral control
- refer individuals at risk of harm to self or others to the appropriate designated crisis responder
- use knowledge of Lewis County resources to make referrals
- communicate follow-up actions to the incoming crisis team
- provide follow-up contact
- assist with voluntary hospitalization and coordinate with the designated crisis responder on involuntary placement as a collateral provider
- consult with and educate law enforcement, schools, health personnel, and other agencies.
