Piano Accompanist (Dance and/or Musical Theatre)

What you'll do

• Provide piano accompaniment for dance classes and private voice lessons
• select music that supports students artistically and technically
• accompany in appropriate meter and tempo
• clarify rhythms, phrases, and exercise lengths
• perform for ballet, character, pointe, male technique, variations, and pas de deux classes
• make practice recordings upon request
• support musical theatre classes and lessons with pitch, rhythm, phrase, and style.
