The Cybersecurity Incident Response & Threat Detection Analyst role is onsite in Columbus, OH. Compensation is $120,000–$145,000 per year. The analyst supports a Department of War cybersecurity mission protecting an enterprise network environment. The role monitors security tools and network activity to detect, analyze, and respond to threats. It also sustains cybersecurity tools and supports defensive controls to reduce network risk.

What you'll do

• Participate in 24x7x365 SIEM and cybersecurity tool monitoring
• review events and network traffic for attack indicators
• perform root cause analysis of incidents
• use threat intelligence including OSINT
• provide technical analysis and sustainment support for enterprise tools
• assist with Defense-in-Depth signatures and perimeter controls.
