The role is responsible for supervising operational functions and drivers, ensuring efficient yard and transportation operations. The supervisor leads a team to meet customer needs while maintaining safety and operational standards.

What you'll do

• Manage and coordinate all activities for the yard.
• Supervises all Technicians.
• Work with the Operations Coordinator & Routers to coordinate routes, pick-ups, and deliveries.
• Analyze and report on operational activities.
• Work directly with other departments to ensure excellent communication.
• Work with Operations Supervisors at other yards to coordinate asset transfers.
• Maintain proper staffing levels.
• Assist Operations Manager with coordinating logistics for special events.
• Review all paperwork from drivers for completion and accuracy.
• Review and approve Time Saver punches.
• Responsible for fleet DOT administration.
• Responsible for the administration of the Company's safety program.
• Responsible for employee development & conducting periodic performance reviews.
