The Dietary Cook works onsite in Louisburg, KS; pay is $16–$19 per hour. It also supports timely meal service, food quality, and compliance with applicable regulations by reviewing production information and assisting with food ordering, storage, and preparation as assigned.

What you'll do

• Prepare menu items using standardized recipes
• review menus, resident census information, production guides, and pre-prep sheets to determine food types and quantities
• follow safe food-handling guidelines and applicable codes
• assist with food ordering, storage, and preparation as designated
• prepare food on time
• maintain food preparation and service quality
• use nutritionally equivalent substitutes when required
• refer potential menu changes to a supervisor or dietitian.
