What you'll do

• Perform electronic and technical tasks involving data communications equipment
• troubleshoot terminals with diagnostic equipment
• install terminals, controllers, and test equipment
• restore lines and equipment
• install and terminate wiring and cabling
• coordinate with vendors on circuits and equipment
• test, troubleshoot, and repair circuit boards
• interpret installation drawings
• conduct site surveys
• execute telecommunications equipment installations, relocations, and modifications
• support system upgrades
• diagnose malfunctions and perform maintenance and repairs
• monitor service-order changes.
