The Vehicle Equipment Installer role is an onsite, full-time position in Stuart, FL, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The posting lists $19–$24 per hour for trainee level and $25+ per hour for experienced level, based on experience. LEHR provides vehicle upfitting solutions for police, fire, utility, and other essential fleets. The installer removes factory components and installs emergency vehicle equipment, electronics, and 12-volt wiring. Careful installation, safe work practices, and organized tools and inventory help prepare vehicles for first responders and other fleet users.

What you'll do

• Remove factory-installed interior and exterior components
• install light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems
• perform 12-volt wiring and system installations
• follow safety procedures
• maintain a clean workspace
• organize tools and inventory.
