The Fuel Distribution System Operator Lead role is full-time and onsite at Stallion Range Center, White Sands Missile Range, NM; pay is $28.43 per hour. The lead serves as the on-site point of contact for fuel operations at this remote range location supporting a government contract. The lead directs daily work and coordinates fuel deliveries while operating tankers and ensuring safe, accountable fuel handling. The role helps maintain mission continuity at the separated site through quality checks, accurate records, equipment oversight, and adherence to safety and environmental procedures.

What you'll do

• Direct daily work for the SRC Operator and coordinate delivery priorities and routes
• operate government-furnished fuel tankers and a semi tractor
• tow fuel pods
• fuel and defuel aircraft, generators, equipment, and vehicles
• perform fuel quality checks and sampling
• maintain fuel accountability records
• report equipment issues and spills
• conduct vehicle inspections and comply with hours-of-service requirements.

Why this role
