Commercial Coordinator — Project Billing & Cost

The Commercial Coordinator — Project Billing & Cost role is onsite in Phoenix, AZ. Compensation is $32–$35 per hour. The position supports MornstAir’s engineering and construction projects by coordinating billing and cost administration with project engineers, procurement, management, and accounting. The coordinator maintains accurate project financial documentation and helps ensure customer billing and supplier payments align with contracts, approvals, and budgets. The work supports timely invoicing, payment processing, cost reporting, and project financial controls.

What you'll do

• Collect progress records, delivery documentation, timesheets, and billing support
• prepare and submit customer payment applications and invoices
• track approvals, payment status, and outstanding balances
• review supplier and subcontractor payment requests against purchase orders, contracts, rates, delivery records, timesheets, and prior payments
• identify discrepancies and coordinate resolution
• verify project and cost codes
• prepare monthly billing and cost summaries
• upload approved invoices and supporting documents
• maintain project records
• reconcile project cost and payment records with accounting.
