Executive Chef — Long-Term Care

What you'll do

• Plan regular and modified menus
• follow standardized recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
• complete production and waste logs
• taste meals for quality
• train kitchen staff in preparation, safe handling, equipment, food safety, and sanitation
• maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules
• manage food and non-food inventory
• make decisions about leftover food use within company guidelines
• comply with health and sanitation regulations
• follow safety policies and attend relevant meetings and development programs.
