Senior IT Project Manager / Business Analyst (PMP)

Job overview

The Senior IT Project Manager / Business Analyst (PMP) role is initially onsite in Columbia, SC, with a hybrid schedule allowed after acclimation; hours are 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Compensation is $145,000–$150,000 per year. The engagement supports strategic and tactical IT initiatives for the South Carolina Department of Administration. The role leads complex technology projects from initiation through closure while applying business analysis expertise to define requirements, scope, and solutions. It supports delivery on time, within scope and budget, and improves transparency through documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end project delivery across scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, communication, and resources
• maintain project plans, RAID logs, communication plans, status reports, and executive updates
• manage cross-functional teams
• facilitate scope and requirements sessions
• identify and mitigate risks
• support procurement as needed
• ensure policy, security, records, and governance compliance
• elicit and document requirements
• define processes and data flows
• coordinate user acceptance testing, cutover, readiness, and post-launch support.
