Machine Operator — 1st and 2nd Shifts

The Machine Operator works onsite in Elyria, OH, with starting pay of $17 per hour. Elyria Plastic Products manufactures custom injection-molded products, molds, and precision-machined parts. The operator handles molded parts and performs visual and gauge inspections, secondary operations, packaging, and production documentation. The work supports product quality and production flow; injection-molding experience is preferred but not necessary, and training is available for the right person.

What you'll do

• Load inserts and unload molded parts
• trim excess material
• clean mold cavities when required
• inspect parts visually and with gauges
• complete production and quality documentation
• package and label products
• remove scrap
• maintain a clean work area
• perform secondary operations
• operate equipment such as arbor presses and sonic welders as needed
• notify supervisors of quality issues.
