Process Technician — Set-Up

The Process Technician role is onsite in El Dorado Springs, MO. Compensation is not specified. The position supports the Set-Up department and production teams in maintaining safe, efficient production and meeting Altor Solutions’ safety, quality, and production standards. The role exists to keep production equipment operating effectively and improve molding processes. By developing and refining processes, troubleshooting equipment, and coordinating with Operations and Engineering, the technician helps improve product quality and reduce scrap.

What you'll do

• Set up, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment
• perform routine maintenance. Develop molding processes for optimum cycle times and product quality, and improve processes to reduce scrap. Work with Operations and Engineering on recommendations for new tooling and tool modifications. Assist operators with packaging concerns, complete required paperwork, and follow safety protocols including lockout/tagout.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 3–6 months of relevant manufacturing experience or training, and prior mold-changing experience with knowledge of EPS molding. Technical drawing and schematic interpretation and ERP/MRP experience are listed qualifications.
