Security Captain

Job overview

The Security Captain role is onsite in Dumfries, VA, and pays $32.80 per hour. Securitas provides security services to help safeguard clients’ people and assets. The Captain supervises Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel at client sites, helping ensure security procedures are followed and client requirements are met. The role supports reliable site coverage through staff coaching and training, scheduling and payroll assistance, client communication, inspections, and accurate reporting.

What you'll do

• Supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other assigned personnel
• ensure post orders and rounds are followed and reports are filed accurately and promptly
• notify appropriate authorities and clients during emergencies
• coach, discipline, and train personnel
• assist with payroll and staffing coverage
• meet with client representatives
• prepare reports and inspect posts. May perform Security Officer duties as needed.
