Lead Operations

The Lead Operations role is full-time and in person in Kearny, NJ, based in an office and/or show site; pay is $27–$31 per hour. The role supports Freeman’s Event & Exhibit Services team, which designs and delivers live event and exhibit experiences. The position coordinates production and branch operations, with emphasis on demand planning, inventory utilization, transportation, and rental equipment. By aligning forecasts, equipment movement, warehouse activity, and event requirements, the role helps deliver efficient operations and service to customers.

What you'll do

• Forecast rental equipment demand and maintain inventory-system data
• identify shortages and inter-branching needs
• evaluate demand to reduce transportation and labor costs
• ensure inventory procedures are followed
• report utilization, substitutions, loss, damage, and shortages
• coordinate event specifications and operational efficiency
• support show-site operations
• supervise vehicle loading and unloading
• arrange trucks and trailers
• ensure equipment and freight reach show sites
• follow shipping and receiving paperwork procedures.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma and at least three years of trade show operations, warehouse operations, demand planning, or related experience. College is preferred; experience supporting trade shows with 1,000–1,500 booths is requested.
